Great place
For
Celebratory dinner !!!
I finished graduate school and my family set up a nice dinner for me!!
This restaurant is so cute and we were seated at a huge table in the middle of the restaurant. We had excellent service... Our water glasses never got empty... The chicken lollipops for appetizers were gobbled up !!
The taste was similar to Filipino adobo ... And a little spicy with jalepenos
I ordered the best mahi mahi dish I've had since Hawaii ... It was soft and flavorful!! No carbs too
This would be a great romantic option too ... -

Had an average experience here.
Atmosphere is nice...one of the most happening corners in the Gaslamp district.
This place has gotten many accolades for their food but I wasn't impressed. I asked the hostess for recommendations and decided to go with the salmón snd brussel sprouts. The salmón was $38 and average. The brussel sprouts were below average. I also tried the duck fat fries which were good. My friend had the meatballs which I also sampled and again...just ok.
For all the good press on this place, I just wasn't impressed. Maybe it was an off night?
Not sure I'll be back, maybe just for a drink. -

I had an excellent experience here and I will definitely be back!
Service - I want to start here because this is what really wowed me. My SO and I arrived at the restaurant ahead of our reservation, but we were seated immediately. Our server, Ryan, was immediately very attentive. He brought me samples of two of their wines I was deciding between, which I really appreciated. Once we picked our wines, we ordered the tomahawk steak. It came with two sides and a salad. We were immediately informed that the tomahawk takes some time to make - which we were fine with as it is to be expected for a steak of this size! Well, we waited and waited and waited. We waited about 45 minutes and still no salad. I brought this to Ryan's attention and he was immediately apologetic and agreed that it should not have taken this long to at least get the salad out. He brought over his manager, Sarah, who offered to comp us another round of drinks. We accepted with gratitude. The salad then came and the steak shortly thereafter. Sarah and Ryan's attentiveness, friendliness and customer service made for such a great experience. Thank you to them!
Food - Yum. Yum. Yum. Best tomahawk steak I've ever had! We also got the duck fat fries and Brussels sprouts. Both were absolutely delicious and I will 100% order again.
Drinks - They have a very healthy wine selection! I was appreciative of that. Drinks came out quickly and at their proper temperatures.
Price - The price is comparable to a nice restaurant. For most, this would probably be "special occasion" prices.
Ambiance - I loved it! Modern, moody with great music in the background. A lively spot, for sure.
Overall, I highly recommend coming here! -

Such a fun place for dinner in Gaslamp! We dropped by to have a big dinner on Sunday night before hitting up the bars down the street. Our group of 3 shared 2 appetizers and 2 sides along with having our own entree.
- Spicy Tuna Poke with taro chips: so fresh and would recommend
- Famous Duckfat Fries: definitely order, it's amazing
Their steaks are delicious- well presented, flavorful and great portion. I ordered the new york strip steak served with roasted yams, shishito pepper chimichurri. My friends ordered the beef filet which is a filet mignon with creamed leeks, oyster mushrooms, cabernet jus.
We shared the butter mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
Dinner was so amazing! Would definitely recommend. It was pretty pricey but well worth it. Service was great as well. Be sure to check into Yelp for your free famous duck fat fries! -

Came here for the mimosas, stayed for the service. Seriously, the service at this place was great
With so many brunch options in the Gaslamp district, I'm not exactly sure what lured us into this place. But immediately upon arrival we were greeted and seated with a warm welcome by the hostess and our waiter Eddie. Eddie immediately got us started with bottomless mimosas and put in our order right after. There was no long periods of wait for anything. Mimosas kept getting poured, our appetizer and entree arrived quickly, and Eddie would come by our table often to make sure everything was okay. The whole staff at this place was very nice and attentive to our table.
The food was great. Best thing on the brunch menu was the steak and eggs in my opinion. The steak was juicy and the eggs were extra runny. I managed to get a taste of the chicken sandwich which was also good. Duck fat fries were a nice starter and are free with yelp check in.
Overall, the $19 bottomless mimosas and awesome hospitality is definitely enough to have me coming back to this place. Might have to even check out one of their themed brunches.
